Is nuclear energy the panacea that John McCain claims will solve our energy woes?

Some environmentalists are divided on this issue. Some would prefer nuclear power plant instead of a coal power plant. There is one problem. Coal costs only 5 cents a Kilowatt per hour. All other energy sources cost more by a few cents per KPH. You want need a carbon tax to level the playing field or greater technological advances to replace Fossel fuels like coal or oil.
