What are some important informations about Mitosis and Meiosis?????

Both are cell division processes, in mitosis (aual) the number of chromosomes in newly formed two cell are same, while in meiosis four cells are formed in ually reproducing organisms with half the number of chromosomes in original one, i.e. the nucleus in former divides in two parts while in later it divides to four nucleus.
