Why do Republicans hate Americans?

The Republican Party was all for mive deficit spending to help the Iraqis and Afghanis, but now that Obama wants to spend money to help unemployed Americans, American kids who don't have health care, and rebuild our country's infrastructure, the Republicans are upset. In fact, some of their governors may not even take the money from the stimulus bill. Why are Republicans so generous when it comes to helping foreigners, but so selfish when it comes to helping Americans?
